If you are using these UV/Purple SMD's in a CG Xbox 360 Wireless Controller with an MS rechargeable battery pack or rechargeable AA's then these UV/Purple SMD's will not work because there isn't a high enough voltage to make them bright. They work great for the Xbox 360 ROL mod on the actual console in any situation. They will work great on the following controller applications: Any Matrix Controller Setup, AA (non-rechargeable on CG), any wired controller or controller plugged into a Play N' Charge Device. If you are not sure if you have a Wireless CG or Matrix Controller (only two versions of the wireless controller, so you have to have one or the other) then please check out the
